Lorenzo Maqced, pseudonym of Lorenzo Marroni, was born in Città di Castello on 6 May 1993. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Pietro Vannucci, and currently lives and works in Perugia. His practice focuses on popular heritage, exploring spaces and figures through visual architectures that metaphorically reflect man’s relationship with the outside. He has a residency in Pottery North West, Seattle, USA, (2019). He is co-founder of the Artist Run Space Ma project, Perugia. Winner: "DE POI AWARD" Award (2019), Alfredo De Poi Award (2016).
